BMS students are open-minded, thirsty for knowledge, and have learned to regard themselves as part of a global community and to actively question the world around them. Our EU project was recognized by the Federal Chancellery of Germany!

IB Diploma

In 2016, the first BMS graduates will receive their IB diplomas. In preparation, the IB authorization process has been started. The BMS is already a recognized IBO World School!

Parent Evening: 21st Century Learning

On February 14th, we invite all parents to attend a parent evening, during which we will focus on the modern learning methods and practices.

IBO Visit

An IBO representative will visit BMS on Tuesday, February 28th, 2012 to evaluate our Preschool. The BMS Preschool and Kita is the first Preschool in Berlin Mitte to incorporate the international curricula of the IBO.

Strategic Plan 2016

BMS is developing their Strategic Plan 2016, based on the criteria provided by the ECIS. Families, students, teachers and education experts are involved in this process, which is being led by BMS’ Advisory Board.

BMS Growth

Next academic year, we will have 650 students from Kita to 9th Grade learning at BMS. We will begin our construction plans in order to make room for our growth.

Welcome to the international school in Berlin-Mitte!

We are the international all-day school in the Berlin Mitte district. As an authorized IB World School we are the only school in the center of Berlin that fulfills the high standards of the IB Organization. Our aim is to offer a comprehensive and continuous education from kindergarten to 12th grade based on the highest international standards and the educational requirements of the Berlin Senate. We currently have 600 students learning in our Preschool, Primary School and Secondary School. As an international school, we offer our students the opportunity to obtain the internationally recognized IB Diploma in 12th grade.

As our name suggests, we place great value on cultural exchange and the interaction of people from different nationalities. Our program thrives on the benefits of our downtown location. Berlin Mitte is home to a world-class art and cultural community as well as being an influential political hub. Our students profit from this atmosphere every day. We are well established in the neighborhood and collaborate with nearby art and political institutions, such as the embassies of countries from around the globe.

We welcome all families who seek a high-quality learning environment for their children with the continuity of a program that begins in preschool and culminates in an international high school degree. Our academic certificates are the MSA (Mittlerer Schulabschluss) and IGCSE (Cambridge University) in grade 10, as well as the IB Diploma (International Baccalaureate Diploma) in grade 12.

Our school will grow by one grade per year until our first group of 12th graders has successfully graduated.
